Narayan Keer is a humble lower middle-class man, whose life revolves around his family. He and his wife work hard so that their children can have a better life than they did. However, their dreams come crashing down when an influential builder decides to construct a sports complex upon their colony, and asks the residents to vacate the land.
The Keers, along with their neighbours, face the prospect of losing their home. The fear brings to the fore superstition, greed, anger and mistrust among the residents of the colony. In the grip of these emotions, they take decisions that will have far-reaching consequences.
Can a moment's anger unleash the hidden violence in a person? Can families really be destroyed in a day? Can hope and happiness spring from tragedy?
